Coach Baechler is in his Twelth season as head coach at Canton.  In his career at Canton, Coach Baechler has led the varsity team to WLAA Championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.  The Chiefs were Regional Champions in 2005 and 2006 as well.  To date, his varsity team has recorded 8 playoff appearances, capped by the 2005 Division 1 State Runner-Up.  Coach Baechler was selected Head Coach of the Michigan All-Star East team in 2006.  His East All-Stars were victorious 22-15.  Coach Baechler earned a Bachelor of Arts at Adrian College and an MA in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University.  He and his wife, Julie, and their two sons Brocton and Lou, reside in Plymouth.
